Râșnov
Rasnov is a city in Brasov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is located in the South West of the Brasov Depression, 15 km from Brasov, along the Ghimbăşel River, at 650 m altitude.
The town currently has about 16,000 inhabitants. Its coat of arms is a shield with three roses.
Situated in the center of the country, in the upper part of Bârsa Land at the foot of Postăvaru massif, a short distance from the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains and the Rucăr, Bran and Cheia Predeal pass, the town of Râşnov keeps a flavor of prosperous burg over the centuries.

Râşnov has several leisure services for tourists: horseback riding, carriage rides, paragliding, zip lines, rock climbing, mountaineering, rappel, mountain biking, ATV, paintball, archery, ski and snowboard.
Horse riding
Horse riding, for those who like to practice it daily or at least weekly, is more than a means of recreation or a way to stay physically and mentally healthy - it is a way of life.
The Equestrian Center Diana has lipițan and their metis, pony, Arabs and their metis, in a wide variety of colors. With them, you can venture out on horse riding trips on a varied terrain in Râşnoavei Gorges. They also organize sleigh rides, as well as riding courses for beginners.
