Climbing
Climbing is a sport usually practiced on rock walls of varying degrees of difficulty, and the participant is secured by teammates and by an expert instructor. Climbing is done with securing on the top of the wall.
The city of Braşov, as well as the whole county, has plenty of places to practice climbing, both on rocks and on ice.

Sledding
Those who arrive in Poiana Braşov can also enjoy sledding on a slope reserved for this activity, in the access area to Bradul ski slope (behind the wooden church). The sledding slope is the only one in the country with snow guns, so it is open even when there is not much snow. It is also equipped with night lights, as well as a ski lift.
Snowshoe trekking
Snowshoes are ideal for light walks on snowy trails or on small and medium pitch terrain. Hiking with them, also called snowshoeing, could be practiced during all the winter months. The advantage of using them is that we do not sink too much in the snow, so walking gets easier. And last but not least, walking with them improves our fitness.
Winter rope climbing
Due to the favorable relief, there are suitable areas in Braşov County to practice rope climbing during the cold season.
