Pensiunea ALPIN RANCH deschisă din anul 2003 este situată la 27 km distanță de Brașov, la poalele Munților Piatra Craiului, reprezentând principalul punct de atracție al zonei, un masiv cu pante line la sud, pentru iubitorii de natură! „Crai”- ul, cum este adesea alintat, este o „lamă” tăioasă și abruptă cu pereți verticali, înalți de 400–650 m, locul ideal pentru iubitorii de alpinism! O oază de liniște unde vă puteți petrece vacanța fără griji, cu sau fără copii, pentru cei veniți la relaxare! O zonă ce poate fi explorată cu căruța, cu caii sau pe poneii noștri (Zoro, Flash și Fulger), în special pentru copii! Pentru iubitorii de aventuri vă sugerăm Prăpăstiile Zărneștiului, Parc Aventura Wolf, Traseul de Motocross Brebina, Rezervația de urși sau Dino Park, aflate în apropiere! Poiana Secuilor Cottage is the only authentic cottage in the Predeal area. Every corner of the place founded in 1935 has a story to tell. Here, with love for the mountain and you, we created a special place in which to feel the parfum of hiking in the woods and to be part of nature, an escaped to the mountains, famous for hospitality, good mood, live follk concerts with many artists and mountain songs and a kitchen that always offers fresh food with traditional dishes and specialties from bio products and the richness of nature that surrounds us. Arriving on the plateau of 3 Brazi, go right on the way to Poiana Secuilor. After a 5-minute drive, you get to a wonderful place, surrounded by forest and mountains. There is Poiana Secuilor cottage, authentic rustic cottage classified under 1 daisy. It is the only place in the country with panorama to 4 different mountains. It has a rustic terrace, a rustic restaurant, a parking lot, an ATV for rent and a great panorama over the surroundings. It is a strategic starting point for hiking to: • Don's Cot - Tamina Waterfall - Piatra Mare; • Cheile Rasnoavei - Cheia Chalet; • vf. Postavaru;   Three Brazi - Paraul Rece; • Three Brazi - Fetifoi - Chalet Diham - Bucegi Mountains. Poiana Secuilor Chalet has a great view over the surroundings, 36 accommodation places, parking, ATV rentals, campfire, barbecue. Our cottage has a capacity of 38 spots distributed in 16 rooms. The rooms have their own bathroom, 24-hour hot water, refrigerator, TV and WI-FI. During the winter months, free sledges are available and organized: - ski school (ski equipment included); - Rummy, chess, table games.

According to the legend, during a period of drought that has scorched all plants, humans and animals, a poor woman, named Stanca, climbed to the peak of the Piatra Craiului Mică and prayed to God to give rain, repeating this route for several days until, one day, she never returned to the village. Then a miracle occurred, it was raining incessantly for three days and three nights. After a long search, the locals have found Stanca on the peak of Piatra Craiului Mică, on her knees and her eyes up to the sky, but dead. They buried her there, and left a cross on her head. It preserves the heritage buildings of architectural patrimony, historical monuments built in the XIX century: the Communal House (1867- the current Cultural Center), the Court (1886) and the Confessional School of Zărnești (1875).

”The Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary” Church was built in 1791, and was organized and developed around the Orthodox cemetery in Zărnești, being founded by archpriest Bratu Baiul. Due to the increasing of the population of the village, the enlightened priest wanted to organize an Orthodox cemetery and build the church. At that time the cemetery and the church were located on the outskirts of the village. An ideal location is found on a hill above the river bed Bârsa. Through the efforts of past and present priests, the Orthodox cemetery and stylish renovated church, dedicated to the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, gives us a sample of respect for the ancestors of Zărnești. The church „The Entry of the Most Holy Mother of God into the Church” was built in 1779, ten years after the village was founded. The church was founded by the great Romanian merchant from Brașov, Ioniță Boghici. The merchant from Brașov has also made other donations to the church, of which there were preserved four icons painted on 20th of February 1779 by Constantin Popovici and a brass candlestick with two arms, dated 1723. Among the valuable objects brought from Tohanul Vechi by the priests Mihai and Oprea, there was a precious gospel printed in Bucharest in 1682 at the command and the expense of Ion Șerban, the nephew of the ruler Șerban Basarab.
