Snowshoeing and ski touring in the Carpathians

Dear friends,

Join us for our first winter experience in the Carpathians from 2022!
power walking, snowshoeing or ski touring lessons, authentic gastronomy, local crafts, wine tasting, are also included along the two days!
Accommodation in authentic local lodges, local gastronomy and passionate hosts.
You will hike or take the snow shoes in the forested mountains of Transylvania, discover beautiful countryside and the wildlife of the the legendary Carpathian Mountains, the Romanian Alps. This amazing tour is also available on request all winter long.

Program:
Day 1, January 14th – Our first day is the “get together” day in a mountain village from Tara Barsei. Time for introduction and presentation of our weekend programme. Welcome drinks from our hosts and a wonderful dinner. Optional, a short walk around the village.

Day 2, January 15th
Option 1: loop walk/ snowshoe hike from Pestera to Magura village and back. Evening visit to Bran Castle (optional)
Option 2: ski touring introduction lessons from our ski ISIA expert: theory and practice.

Day 3, January 16th
After breakfast we will have a transfer to Botorog fountain and start our trek to Curmatura hut. This a medium difficulty trek.

What is included:
- 2 nights luxury accommodation
- Professional guide and ski instructor along the trip (ISIA)

What is not included:
- Snowshoes or ski touring equipment
- Transfer from/to Bucharest
- Lunches
- Alcoholic drinks
- Individual travel Insurance or insurance waiver form (compulsory in order to be accepted for the tour, for foreign tourists)

from 485 EUR/pers (min. 4 pax.)
Kids have a reduced fee (pls enquire at the time of booking)
