Feldioara

Feldioara (in Hungarian Földvár, translated as "Mary’s fortress", in German "Marienburg", in Latin "Castrum Sancte Maria") is a village in Braşov County, Transylvania, Romania.

It is part of the historical Barsa countryside, located at approx. 500 m above sea level.

Feldioara Fortress is the most important fortification built by the Teutonic knights in Transylvania.
