Carpathian MTB Epic returns for the 3rd edition, with new tracks and an authentic MTB experience, between the 1st and 4th of August 2019. Registrations are OPEN for all passionate, professional and amateur cyclists at special prices starting with 28 January 2019, on carpathianmtb.ro/en. The event is featured in the S2 category of the International Cycling Union (UCI), giving performance athletes access to 80 UCI points. Carpathian MTB Epic delivers 4 days of pure mountain biking with over 173 kilometres of pedalling and 8.050 meters of climbing in the heart of one of the last genuinely wild regions in Europe – the Carpathian mountains in Romania. Participation is complemented by the all-inclusive experience, which covers everything from accommodations in the Olympic level Race Village to nutrition & meal plans, complete race services on site and on course and top it all with a high quality relaxation & entertainment programme. We invite you, between the 1st and 4th of August, in Romania’s Carpathian Mountains for a journey that will reshape your mountain biking foundations. Amateur participants who are not yet ready to cope with 4 days of racing can opt for the 1-Day Challenge event, being scheduled on the 4th of August, on a shorter route, 43 km long and with 1,800 meters of climbing. Since its first edition, the Carpathian MTB Epic event has been quickly labelled as one of the most spectacular competitions in Europe, due to the special aura of the lands, the full package of services, the exceptional promotion and the quality of the organization. We created this association in order to: - Create sporting and tourist events in Săcele - Support and promote more sport activities within a single group (running, MTB, orientation, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, paragliding) - Support Sacele Montana Sport Festival - Promote sport among young people and encourage and support them. - Create and mark new thematic routes in order to attract new tourists to Sacele. - Attract funds and create projects for the development of tourism.

CARPATERRA Organisation... for nature and people

Dealurile Transilvaniei oferă unele dintre cele mai importante pășuni cu înaltă valoare naturală din Europa. Satul Cobor este locul perfect pentru conservarea biodiversității și managementul durabil al pășunilor. Cu pădurile sale de fag, dealurile înalte și pajiștile bogate, Cobor oferă o experiență extraordinară. Viața păsărilor din zonă este uimitoare și veți avea șansa să vedeți o mare varietate de specii din observatorul nostru. La Cobor vei găsi locul perfect pentru relaxare și pentru a-ți încărca bateriile: trekking, trasee de bicicletă, vizitarea barajului castorilor, observarea păsărilor sălbatice în timpul plimbărilor sau din observatorul contruit special, participarea la tabere de fotografie sau de wilderness, excursii de o zi, activități ale fermei, evenimente lunare organizate cu sătenii sau bucuria câtorva zile liniștite. Fundația Conservation CARPATHIA se implică activ din 2009 în conservarea zonelor mari împădurite din Munții Carpați.

ROSENAU TURISM Association was born in 2006 as a result of several exchanges of experience between guesthouse owners in Râşnov and Tourism Associations from: Arieş Valley, Alba, Sibiu, and has the development and promotion of local tourism as main objective.The ROSENAU TURISM Association is a member of the Federation of Tourism Promotion Associations in Romania since 2011.Through our sustained activity, together with Râşnov City Hall, our aim is to make the anthropogenic potential of Râşnov known to all the tourists, the touristic objectives, the cultural and sports events taking place throughout the year, the leisure possibilities, the restaurants, the guesthouses and the hotels in Râşnov resort.

The Organisation aims to create projects for the development of the Bran-Moeciu-Fundata area.

The Association for Education and Outdoor Culture (AECO Romania) aims to promote the educational values of outdoor activities and the nature movement, generically called "outdoor" ("beyond the door" in English). Among these are: walking (summer) and snowshoe walking (winter), cycling (mountain and road), rock climbing, mountaineering, speoturism, rafting, canyoning or skiing). For us walking in nature and the mountain mean respect and education. The main objectives of AECO Romania - Developing modern tools for promoting outdoor education among young people and children: books, ebooks, thematic films; - Organizing outdoor camps in different areas of the country/ abroad to attract all those interested in nature as an alternative to spending leisure time; - Developing integrated tourism infrastructures in the natural environment to be used by all nature lovers in general but also for attracting and knowing nature for young people in particular; - Training and formation of people for outdoor activities with young people and children, in maximum safety conditions; - Collaboration with other local, national or international organizations for the proposed objectives. AECO is permanently open to collaboration in the field of outdoor education, with other associations or legal entities in Romania, as well as with professional individuals in the field or people who do not work in these fields but want to get involved. The Barcaság Csangó Association (officially called Asociația Ceangăilor Bârsa) was established in 1991 in Săcele, Brasov County, by local intellectuals and entrepreneurs. The main objective is to support the local Hungarian education. The objectives include also the preservation of Barcaság Csangó's traditions and habits. For this, the Association operates the Foundation hostel/guesthouse witch provides founds to achieve the goals.
