About
Inaugurated on May 13, 2016, the Museum of Codlenic Traditions and the Local Public Administration represents an extensive project for the development and modernization of Codlea's Historic Center, a very important patrimony for Codlea, a true cultural dowry. The realization of the museum was a joint effort of the Codlea's residents everywhere, through the donations of the exhibits that can be admired in it, a dream of bringing the history of Saxons, Romanians, Hungarians and Romas under the same roof.
In the past, this building was the old town hall, built above the city gate. In 1775 the construction was improved, and between 1828 and 1830 the building was in the form of today.
Entrance is free!
